Number Available to Port out to another provider or cancelled

Hi,
I need your support to understand that my number will be ported to the new provider or some issue has happened.
History - 2 days back i requested with another carrier for a prepaid simcard and as part of it requested to keep the existing number with Deutche telekom to be transferred. After completing the identification process at Deutche Post office i got a confirmation that new simcard will be posted to my mailing address , with condition of my number to be released from Deutche Telekom.
Yesterday evening i filled the form in telekom site to cancel my prepaid account as soon as possible so it can be available for transfer. As part of confirmation email for that cancellation request i received information that i will get another email with details of when the account will be cancelled however today morning i see no service in my phone and in telekom app as well account is no longer visible. When i am trying to call on my number it says number is not assigned.
Query - I just need to know that my number is not purged and will be available to be transferred to the new provider if/once they have requested for it to be released and associated.
Please help me with information, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes, i received a confirmation after few days and then number was transferred in early July. Thank you for your response.
