Warum kostet MobilityConnect deutlich mehr als eine MultiSIM?

Ich würde gerne MobilityConnect in meinem BMW nutzen, allerdings schreckt mich der Preis von knapp 10 € ab. Warum kostet diese Option doppelt so viel wie eine reguläre MultiSIM, die ja funktional aus meiner Sicht die gleiche Funktion bietet?
