Die für mich hier "einzig wahre" Lösung ist, ganz auf die Telekom-Mail-App zu verzichten und die Stock-Mail-App deines Handy zu nutzen oder ggf. eine andere Freie Mail-App.

Vielleicht fragt die emailapp ja intern ab ob es neue mails gibt..kriegt aber keine Antwort vom Server...??
Lösch mal den Cache der telApp...und starte das smartphone neu..
