Maybe you want to cross check with other people that have a Telekom contract, what their phone says about the reception level.
What phone model do you have, was it intended for the EU market?
If the phone does not support all availble/required frequencies then you might suffer from bad reception.

Hi and thank you for your question,
It's an iphone 12 pro max, it's meant for the European market since I bought it in Europe from an apple store. The phone is from 2020, not super new I suppose, but definitely not an old phone. It works well with other sim cards.
I haven't heard of anyone complaining about their telekom contract, I wonder if it's a flawed sim card. Would a telekom store be able to help with it?
