Hello,

I’m currently using a Speedport Smart 4 rented from Telekom. Since I’m switching my tariff to fiber, I’m considering buying the router myself on Amazon — either the Glasfaser Router 2 or another Speedport Smart 4.

My question is:

Is it easy to set up these new devices with my fiber connection? Is there anything specific I should know beforehand? Can I simply

 unplug the cables from the old router and connect them to the new one?
