Clarification about DSL connection

Hello,
I have an internet contract with Telekom starting in February (MagentaZuhause XL, VDSL). However, I am skeptical that my building actually has a DSL connection:
The availability check (“Verfügbarkeitsprüfung”) says DSL is available.
My contract confirmation also says VDSL.
But everyone in the building is using cable internet, and my previous contract at this address was also a cable contract.
I would like a clear confirmation that a VDSL/DSL connection is technically possible in my building, so that my work is not interrupted when the switch happens.
A second issue:
In the Magenta app, the MagentaZuhause XL contract is shown with the status “cancelled”, even though I am receiving written confirmations from Telekom that my contract is valid and an activation date has been scheduled. I also need clarification on this discrepancy.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find an English-speaking hotline, so I am asking for help here in the forum.
