[English] Help setup a new internet subscription with a foreign number?

HI,

I moved half a year ago in Germany and I moved in a new apartment recently the old tenant already had internet setup from Telekom and the previous equipment is still there, I am having a hard time trying to setup a new fiberoptics subscription without a valid german phone number. Can one be set using another european phone number?

Could you furhter elaborate the issue at hand? Is actually setting up a contract with us, or have already signed a contract with us and are now trying to establish the connection?

For the fiber optic order, however, we absolutely need a German cell phone number 🙏🏽 Perhaps a friend or acquaintance has a German number that we could deposit 👍🏽 Otherwise you can also get a cheap prepaid number from us in the store.

Hello @mihai.i,

no, this is not possible. A technician has to come and make a few changes to the existing technology in your apartment. Then the line can be activated.

I guess you already got an email with suggested appointments for the visit of the technician. Make sure to choose an appointment soon, then you'll get your internet connection.

I just had a look.

The days that are painted magenta can be chosen ant then you can book an appointment there. Is that not possible if you do it?

If it looks different on your side, I can call you and book an appointment for you.
