Home WiFi appears to be working, but cable connection to pc suddenly not

Hello all. Today when I turned on my PC, my computer could not connect to the Internet. I notice however my mobile phone can still connect to the WiFi network. I have tried the computers troubleshooter, reset the router, reset the connection via the online telekom site and even replaced the ethernet cable. I am out of ideas. Please help, I work from home :<

Thanks for the advice
I was going through pinging the router and once i logged into it discovered that actually it needed a system software update. Don't know why that didn't affect the WiFi but oh well, seems to be working now. Thanks!
