How to get an account for internet connection from Tekelom

I have a new contract with Telekom
I didn't get any information via email/post to connect to the internet yet.
The technician is already done with his job at my place.

    Hi @qtpngo,

     

    to be honest, I'm not sure how this works for new customers (have been a customer with Telekom for almost  20 years), but I guess you should have received account information either via email or physical mail. Let's wait for the Telekom team to arrive in this thread, they should be able to send you a new information package if needed.

     

    However, if you did not receive anything, you should still be able to use your internet connection. By default, the internet connection comes with the "easy login" feature active, which means that no username or password is required for your router to get online. So, in theory, you should be able to connect any compatible router, run the setup wizard and be online.

     

    Do you have a router and did you already try to connect it?

    Unfortunately, I didn't receive any account information yet.

    I connected my router but internet access is still not possible. It requires some information that I don't have yet.

     

    I tried to call the hotline but had to wait and got no answer.

     

    Really hope someone from Telekom team will arrive in this thread soon and can help as I need stable internet for my work at home.

    What make and model of router do you have? Maybe we can figure out how to get it running....

     

    If it does not come from Telekom and if it has no preconfigured profile for Deutsche Telekom, you may need to configure it manually. Set it up for PPPoE dialin over VLAN7.

    I finally got connected on the Hotline and got the Zugangsdaten for my connection. Thanks for your help. I have internet now 😄
