I have been using Telekom internet since May and have been experiencing severe performance issues.
Every day between 18:00 and 23:00, I face constant buffering on streaming sites and high latency in games.
The connection becomes nearly unusable during these peak hours.
While I originally thought it was a problem with the services I was using, research suggests this is a routing/peering issue within the Telekom network.
I am very frustrated and would like to know what steps can be taken to fix this.
How can we resolve this issue?

Exactly the same problem here. For the past days, no Cloudflare pages or services loading at all in the afternoon and evening. Games lagging or unusable.
The situation can only be described as an outrageous disgrace and a colossal cheek!

From your description, it seems like a peak-time performance issue, which can be caused by higher network load or routing/peering paths during busy hours. To address this properly, we need to check your connection and routing in detail.

To sum it up, your have currently issues with Path of Exile and video streaming. As you can see even under this post we got more reports like yours, and we are currently investigating the issue.
A couple of users found that using a VPN can be a short term solution. That is not to say that this is our official solution for this issue. We are currently looking into the reports we are getting.

according to my research, PoE uses the CDN Cloudflare.
In recent days, Cloudflare has unilaterally modified its peering and routing decisions for traffic ingress to our network. The selection of network paths used by Cloudflare to hand off its data to us is entirely at their discretion and outside our operational control. There are currently no faults or disruptions within Telekom’s infrastructure.
As a temporary workaround, the use of a VPN tunnel may provide relief.

Habe seit Tagen das gleiche Problem. Wie es scheint, ist das Problem bezüglich Final Fantasy Online auch schon im Forum angesprochen worden.
Ich habe Probleme mit Arknight Endfield (Massiv), League of Legends und diversen Webseiten / Streams wie z. B. Instagram oder Discord, die ewig laden.

Ich kann das bestätigen.
Ich war früher bei Telekom Glasfaser über mehrere Jahre. Da hatte ich auch die Peering -Probleme. Packetloss, vorallem zu Prime Zeiten. Ich musste mir zusätzlich einen VPN kaufen, um das Internet nutzen zu können.
Jetzt bin ich bei 1&1 Glasfaser über Telekom Infrastruktur. An meinem Standort habe ich aber leider Pech gehabt und habe NICHT den Versatel-Backbone, sondern habe weiterhin das Telekom- Peering . Das ist aber unterschiedlich, je nachdem wo man wohnt.

Ich habe Probleme mit Arknight Endfield (Massiv) macht das Spiel frustrierend und fast unspielbar.
Ich hoffe das hier zeitnah etwas passiert.
