Problem with internet
Hello dear readers,
Like the title says I have slow internet, well it is around 14 mbit/sec what is decent but I pay for 100 mbit/sec.
I do understand that I will not have 100 all the time but I am wishing for something closer to it.
Last Thursday there was a technician here he did some review and told me the building had a 100 mbit download, he said the screw for the mirror might touch the cable.
That could have been the problem, so me and the concierge looked at it, removed the screw and drilled there was no cable.
Also after the technician left I had (for the first time since having internet) a download around 90 mbit and upload around 20.
I went to the supermarket, super happy came back home to see the 15 mbit back.
If anyone had this problem before what did they do?
Or a solution might be wonderful.
Kind regards,
Tibo De Kesel

Hallo @tibodk ,
Please store your data in your profile, at least one callback number where you can be reached.
Then a Telekom Teamie , who work here, (@Telekom hilft Team) can take a look at your case.
The data is not publicly visible! Only from you and Telekom employees.
A portion of patience, since the teamies are well busy, we can not influence this.
Please enter your data here and save it:

I have updated the data in my profile.
What do you mean with: 'A short info if happened about "answers" would be nice!'?

Sorry for the late reply. - Here I'm.
I'll have a look at your line. Can you tell me which Router you are using? Did you change anything in your network between the two speedtests?
Greetings

Hello @Karsten L. ,
Thank you for your response, no worries about the duration.
I have a Speedport Smart 3 and did not change anything in my network.
The technicians came, checked it went the cellar couple times, told the problem was a screw, 30 min later the concierge came over we took out the screw and the internet was up to 80mbit/sec. So we thought at that time it could've been the screw.
Another 30 min later is was down again and we checked it again (taking out a part of the wall) and there was no cable there (took pictures of it).
Kind regards,

I'll do a line reset now. Please have a look at your DSL speed in around one hour and tomorrow morning. I'll also have another look at your line tomorrow morning and check the speed again.
I'll come back to you here tomorrow.
Greetings

Speedtests are not reliable - only the sync values of the router Smart 3
are important.
Which values does the Smart 3 show?

like @Gelöschter Nutzer said we would need the vales directly from the Speedport. Because we can't use the details out of a speedtest.

Hey @Karsten L.
Could you tell me quick how to see it?
I know how to do it on the website but not from the speedport.ip.

Good morning @Isabel M. ,
Thank you for the information.
The terminal line is the one that enters the building, or where is this one located?
Also are all the terminal lines different from all companies, the concierge uses Unitymedia and he says that he has full speed.
Kind regards,
Tibo De Kesel
