Speedport W921V erkennt Festplatte nicht

Hallo zusammen,

habe mir eine WD 4 TB Festplatte gekauft um sie an das o. g. Speedport als Netzwerkspeicher zu nutzen.

Bevor ich die FP gekauft habe testete ich einen USB-Stick ob das funktioniert, der Stick wurde sofort erkannt,

nur leider die neue Festplatte nicht?!?!?

 

Habe in einem anderen Beitrag gelesen, dass eine angeschlossene FP nicht mehr als 4 TB haben darf,

stimmt das? Habe daher meine neue FP auf 2x2TB partitioniert. Hat auch nix geholfen, die FP wird einfach

am Speedport nicht erkannt. Warum?????

 

Wäre für Hilfe sehr dankbar!

    Ein Speedport ist kein NAS.

     

    Für eine Zentrale datenverwaltung im Netzwerk gibt es NAS (Network Attached Storage).

    NAS sind genau für diesen zweck entwickelt und gebaut. Es gibt für die Festplatte(n) eine separate Stromversorgung, eine Verwaltung und eine Energieverwaltung (Stromsparmodus, Ruhezustand, usw.) sowie eine Nutzerverwaltung, die auch Zugriffsrechte steuert.

     

    Deshalb auch mein Tipp: Nimm ein NAS.

    Zugmaschine und Hänger müssen nicht nur mechanisch zusammenpassen, auch von der Leistung her muss es passen. Antriebsleistung und Bremsleistung.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
