Hi everyone, I have been on the Glasfaser 500 tariff (500 down/100 up) for more than 24 months and I would be interested in testing the Glasfaser 1000 (1000 down/500 up) one.
I tried going through the upgrade procedure, but at the final step it says "minimum contract period: 24 months". Does this mean than, when upgrading the tariff, a sort of "new contract" will start that has to be paid for at least 24 months? Or since I already had another tariff for more than 24 months this "minimum contract period" does not apply?
I am asking because I may have to move abroad before the 24-month contract period ends. Therefore, I would like to know what would happen to my tariff if I were to leave the country before then.

Yes after switching to a higher tariff you will have a new period of 24 months.
If you move abroad out of germany you can cancel the contract with special right.
