Technician came to my house before I recieved my router

The technician just left my house and I still have no internet because I didn’t recieve my router.I would like to communicate this to Telekom but I am unable to do so because nobody speaks english.I would like to know how to get said router in a timely matter or what options I have at the moment.I have already waited two weeks.

      @vatarflock Did you receive an acknowledgement of your order ("Auftragsbestätigung")? If you did, does it show that a router has been ordered?

       

      With Deutsche Telekom, a router does not necessarily come with the internet connection, it needs to be ordered separately. A router can be rented or bought from DT or it can be rented or bought from any third party you chose.

      Nothing changed since I posted.Yes I did order the router,it says so on the invoice.I am available on the phone during the week between 17 and 24 and anytime during the weekend.

      Hi @Louisa G.  ! Thank you for resolving the issue. I received everything and have the connection, which is great!

      The only thing, I don't have a contract for Internet connection itself anywhere. I can't add that to my Telekom Kundencenter because it requires access data:

      Die Zugangsnummer ist Teil der Zugangsdaten. Diese benötigen Sie für die Einrichtung Ihres Routers und werden allen Festnetz-Internet Kunden bei Vertragsbeginn zugesendet.

       

      But since it was straightforward plug'n'play I don't have this data.

      Hi @mikevrpv,

       

      I'm glad to hear that your connection is finally working. 👍

      I'll send you an e-mail with the access data (Zugangsdaten) to the address in your profile. 

       

      The data in the e-mail is secured and you're going to need a code for that.

      You will receive this code via SMS within the next few minutes. So with the code, just open the e-mail, klick on the attached document and type in the code from the SMS. Then everything should go well. Fröhlich

       

      Since I'll send completely new access data, you might have to restart your router as well, because the data within the routerconfiguration must be changed, too. This will work automatically, you just have to be patient for a few minutes. So no need to worry. Fröhlich

      Well, long story short: I managed to contact you via chat, asked about the router and they said the delivery of the router was simply canceled with no stated reason. They said they could make another order and send in 3 days. Well, i was waiting for this internet for 15 days, so i simply bought a TP-Link Archer C80 AC1900 at Amazon (€38, delivery on the same day) and instaled it using the data provided by letter. Well, issue solved, but. I am really concerned on why an order got canceled by no reason. Thank you for the attention and have a nice day!
