I want to cencel my contract before getting connection

Dear concern
I am really concerned about my new DSL internet contract First of all german is not my mother tongue. That’s why I don’t know german. I came to Germany as an International Student a few months ago (3 months). I don’t know the rules and regulations yet. A few days (29.12.2021) I have signed for internet contract. Today I have received ROUTER but didn’t get the connection yet. It is supposed to get the connection on 11.01.2022 Now I want to cancel my contract before getting the connection because Telekom has a long time plan and I don’t like it. And in my current residence, I will not live there for a long time. I need a sort time contract internet that’s why I need to cancel the contract before getting the connection. Yes, I am ready to pay the fine (if I have to). Hope you understand my condition. What is procedure should I follow to cancel the contract?

I will delete/anonymise the attachment. You should better not expose your personal data in a forum that everybody can access, worldwide.
From the "Eingangsbestätigung" you have given the order in a Telekom shop. Unfortunately then you do not have a legal right to withdraw/cancel the contract. You can try to talk to the people in the shop, but in my feeling your current reasoning might not be sufficient to motivate the shop people to stop the action...
Good to know:
If you move you can try to take with you the contract in an unchanged way (however there is a 70 Euro moving fee).
If unchanged is not possible then since the legal change dated on December 1st 2021 one can cancel the contract within a one month period.
