Prepaid abroad
Dear Deutsche Telekom Support,
I have arrived in the UK, but my Deutsche Telekom prepaid SIM is not connecting to any network. I did not receive any SMS about roaming activation, and I currently have no service.
I have already checked the following:
• Data roaming is enabled in my phone settings.
• I have restarted my phone multiple times.
• I tried manually selecting a network, but none are working.
Could you please check if international roaming is enabled on my number?

Hello @FDefila,
what is the current situation? Do you now have a network?
If not, please check whether others in the area have network or not.
Please choose LTE and not 5G .
Best regards
Kathrin

Hi Kathrin,
I still don’t have a network. I have two eSIM cards, one from Deutsche Telekom and one Vodafone Italia, and the latter works fine, so I don’t think is a phone of the area (Central London). I now switched from 5G to LTE , but still doesn’t work.

Please start @FDefila,
your smartphone once.
You can find detailed instructions on the individual smartphones, including how to switch data roaming and network settings on or off, in our mobile phone help section:

Hello @FDefila,
I'm very sorry to read that your phone still don't get a signal. Which smartphone exactly do you use and in which slot is the eSIM from us? The first or the second one?
Kind regards
Malte
