Problem with Terminating Contract!

Dear Telekom,

 

On 4 January 2020 I went to the Telekom Shop in Bad Kreuznach to terminate my contract for my cell phone and my Godchild‘s cellphone. I was told to terminate the contracts online. On the same day I terminated both contracts online, and took screenshots of the termination process and the confirmation number.

 

My contract was due to end on 02 July 2020, so you can imagine my surprise when this month I was again charged for the contract I terminated! I called Telekom customer service several times, and even emailed them the screenshots I had taken. This morning they wrote back to say that I had cancelled my Godchild‘s contract, but not my own. This is not possible! I provided the screenshots to clearly show I terminated my contract in January, and now Telekom is saying I didn’t. I even completed the termination process with my German friend present watching all I was doing to confirm the contract was terminated in January! I am extremely upset, as I have noted this same situation has occurred to several of my German and American friends, and calling customer service is a complete waste of time. Please help me to solve this situation, as I have no intention of paying €-1,200 for the coming year for a contract I do not need, especially after I have completed the termination online. Help!!

      thank you for the call.
      Like we discussed, the contract has been cancelled effective immediately.
      If there are any more costs coming your way, except for the contract of your godchild, please contact me again.
