Signing up for Telekom without a German phone number

Hope it's okay that I post in English!

I have just moved to Germany and am trying to obtain a German cell phone number/service plan. After looking a various cellular service providers, I decided to sign up for Telekom's  Magenta Mobil Prepaid L (15 GB) plan with eSIM.

The problem is that a German phone number is already required to purchase. I do not have a German number, and my USA number is not accepted. Is there any way to sign up for plan first, then use this number on the account?

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

      Hi @TylerK

Could it be that you wanted to port a number?
Because you don't need a phone number to conclude a contract.

Thank you very much for your time @TylerK

Please try to use a callback number like 0171 1234567 Fröhlich

      That should work!

Fingers crossed for you and I would be very glad, if you could give me a feedback if that worked!

      Kind regards

@Carolin L. Thanks very much! This worked.

Yesterday I was able to order my plan and verify my identity. However, I have not seen any instructions on how to install my eSIM. Can plans with eSIM be started immediately, or do I still have to wait for something to come in the mail?

Thank you for your feedback @TylerK.

I'm very happy that it worked.

You will receive the eSIM profile by mail. Fröhlich
