Sim card issues

I ordered a sim card with porting my number from another provider. The sim card took time to reach me as the address was wrong. When it did come, it wasnt working. I called several times and visited several telekom shops, they could not help me. The customer service number is not helpful as they only mostly speak German. I tried the sim card on several phones and it still wasnt working so it was a faulty sim card. It was suppposed to be activated on May 19th. The last time i called last week, they said they would send me a new sim card. However, I still have not received any update regarding this. This is very frustrating for me as I am very reliant on my mobile number which was the reason I wanted to port it. I am unable to access many of my mobile applications as i need the mobile number to receiver OTP sms to access most things which is VERY frustrating. I called the customer service many times but its not helpful. I truly regret switching over to telekom as its caused me severe stress.
