Stopped receiving OTP from ewallet in the Philippines

Hi,

I have stopped receiving OTPs from an ewallet in the Philippines. I have tried deleting and reinstalling my ewallet app, toggling flight mode, and restarting my phone. My other ewallet account with a local Philippine number still works but I can’t seem to receive OTPs when using my account that uses my Telekom number. What do I do? Are the messages being blocked?

      I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing while trying to receive OTPs from the Philippines. Could you please verify that you have correctly entered your phone number with your eWallet Provider?

      Your phone number should be entered either as +49 at the beginning or as 0049, 049, or 49. Please check with your provider which format needs to be used. Additionally, kindly check your messages app and look in the spam tab, as the message may have been moved there accidentally.

      Hi Luke,

      Yes, I have checked the format of the number and I have been typing it in correctly.  I also did not find any messages in my spam (junk) folder on my phone. 

      Unfortunately, I am still running into the same problem.

      Thanks for your update.

      Before we continue further, please check if your phone has the newest software version installed and reset your network settings. Note, that this might wipe your entered wifi-connections with your configured password.

      Hi again@Luke B. I’ve updated my phone’s OS and reset network settings. It unfortunately still does not work. I am available at 18:00 CET today or 9:00 to 10:00 CET tomorrow.
