Anmeldung auf apple-Geräten funktioniert nicht

Ich habe 2 neue Apple-Geräte (MacBook Pro und iPad Air) und kann die t-online Daten nicht in den email-account eingeben Fehlerhinweis:

Der Benutzername oder das Passwort für "secureimap.t-online.de" ist nicht korrekt

hast du E-Mail-Passwort eingerichtet und benutzt es auch?

Hallo @Hans-Werner.Wolff wie hier bereits geschrieben wurde, ist für die Einrichtung über einen Client das E-Mail Passwort erforderlich. Dann sollte auch alles ohne Probleme klappen.
Wurde das bereits geprüft?
