Cancellation of Internet contract -URGENT HELP

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Berlin and made a bit of a mistake. While I was just exploring different internet plans yesterday, I accidentally completed an order online for a Telekom MagentaZuhause package.

I want to cancel it as soon as possible. So far, I've only received an automated order confirmation (Eingangsbestätigung) and I only have an Order Number (Auftragsnummer). I do not have a Customer Number (Kundennummer) yet, and nothing has been installed.

Has anyone been in this situation? What is the fastest and most effective way to cancel? Is calling their hotline enough, or is it better to immediately send a formal written cancellation (Widerruf) by email?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

      I don't have customer number, please help me in cancelling at the earliest, it was purchased by mistake and I am new to the standards.

      Hi @Susmit,

       

      @holzher24 is totally right. As soon as you get the confirmation of order, you can revoke it. And please stop writing such numbers on the Internet, other numbers can be a big problem in terms of data security and this specific one doesn't even help me. So it is really advisable to be more careful with your data.

      Oh! And if you want a call, you can fill in your profile, which is the place for such data (so please do not write your phone number or anything in the thread). But again: You can cancel it as soon as you get the confirmation of order. ☺️

      Wait until you receive an order confirmation, which will explain exactly how you can cancel. The order confirmation also contains all the necessary numbers

      Once I get the customer number I will connect here for help, I am not good at german and learning, so it's a bit tough for me, will request help :)
