Initial Setup

Hello. Firstly, I am not good enough with my German to coordinate through Telekoms customer service hotline. We received our Speed Port 4 last week and had our internet turned on yesterday. I used the letter that gives our T-Number and password to setup. I tried using the provider "Telekom" but could not find my Connection Identifier. I read that Telekom no longer uses that. So I tried the other two options. The "Magenta" option accepted my information, yet whenever I try to use Wifi it says connected but no internet. My Speedport indications are all green. My IP status shows my internet is good to the Speedport. It shows my connection is good as well. Yet I do not have internet with Wifi.

 

What am I missing or doing wrong?!

      Hello @Zach Meek and welcome to the community.

       

      Which device exactly are you using with the WiFi of your speedport? Do you've got another device which you can connect via LAN to the router?

      I have been using my phone as well as my wifes. And at the moment, I do not have anything I can hook up LAN

      @Zach Meek Could you pls provide a Screenshot of the status screen and the network screen of your speedport? This you can directly access at the login screen of your speedport.

       

      What device did you use to set up the speedport? Can this device access the internet?

      Solved! Telekom sent me the wrong information to sign into my network on the Speedport.ip 

       

      After I received the correct information, I had no prohlems.
