Kabel-Fehler (e1.1) www.telekom.de/stoerung error

Hello,

Our internet has been not working since Wednesday March 23rd. The modem is displaying this error: Kabel-Fehler (e1.1)

We don't speak German and have no idea how to fix this. Can anyone help please?

@stefaniabonacasa I can call the URL from my PC without any problems.
BTW: You can use deepl.com to translate German to English and vice versa.

It seams as if you have a problem with cable connection. Maybe you are not using the correct cable from telephone socket to the router. What type is your router?

      Hi @mboettcher

Internet was working fine for months, then last Wednesday it stopped all of a sudden. We have not changed or touched our cables.  We have a Telekom Speedport 4

I know I can use deeply but that doesn't help with phone conversations Fröhlich

@stefaniabonacasa You are right, deepl.com is good for async communication as we do here. Since you didn‘t change anything and the error appeared suddenly the real problem will indeed be elsewhere. So it‘s time to call support and report the error.

      Hello @stefaniabonacasa,

as I see, you have a glass fiber access.  The modem seems to be online.

So please check the LAN cable between the router and the modem. Are the plugs firmly seated?

Or please try a different LAN cable, if you have another one.

      Kind regards Inga Kristina J.
