Old contract, New Speedport Smart, error e0.

Hello guys, and sorry for English.

Just rented the new apartment, and during the renovation the router was lost, so the landlord ordered a new one for me. The contract is active (i don't know the credentials), but after connecting the DSL cable it says that there's e0 cable error. I assumed that it couldn't be that easy, so should I get the login-password from the landlord and enter them in the router interface, or now it's all automatically sets up and the problem is somewhere else?

Don't have enough German skills to talk with the hotline, so asking here.

Thanks in advance!

As a rule, if there is an existing Internet contract and an up-to-date router is available, the router fetches the connection data itself. Do you have a telephone number for your connection?

Yes, the contract is active, so probably there's something wrong with the socket then. I have only some numbers that written on the Lieferschein for the new router.  There are "Kunden-Nr.",  "Auftraggeber" etc.

Now I got the phone number for this connection. Is there a way to submit an online form to fix my problem?
