Plan termination because not getting solution to change the tariff

The customer service member in May 2025 called me saying that your Optical fiber contract can be changed to Magenta XL where you have to pay 45€ (3€ less than DSL contract which was 48€). He said my location will have optical fiber within 4-5 months and then your plan will remain on 45€. Unfortunately from August 2025 my bill is generating more and when I checked with customer care they said you have to pay 56€ till October and 77€ from November 2025. This plan is locked for 2 years. I asked about fiber connection, they said it is not sure when it will be started. I think I got robbed by a customer service guy. I want to change my plan to 45€ (even I am fine with DSL plan). I checked with multiple option and finally given termination. But I got an email with termination date of May 2027. I do not want to pay 77€ for 2 years. Kindly support. It is too much for me

The customer care guy told me that the optical fiber will be installed within 4-5 months and then my plan will remain at 45€. But now when I checked with the team, they are not giving any such guarantee. I think there should be a solution that I can pay some cancellation fees or maybe a minimum notice period like 2/3 months and I can terminate. I do not wish to continue with this.

The offer was for entire bundle. I checked with the customer care and they are not supporting with any solution. Unfortunately I have to leave the service provider even though I like telekom. I want to stay with them but 78€ is way too much for me. I am ready to pay some cancellation fees and switch my plan to the lower one but it seems they are not going to do that.

Telekom in principle offers a tariff downgrade after 6 months for some tariffs, however under conditions, here a screenshot from the Telekom price list (and I do not know whether this applies for you) - if this is possible for you / is done for you then a new 24 months minimum duration would start:

Thank you for the update. I have already checked downgrading the speed. The minimum in the current plan is from 150 to 16 MBPS. Where the rate changes from 78€ to 66€. The major issue here is I am unable to cancel the tv subscription. Due to which I have to pay more even with less transmission speed.
