port forward

I am trying to set a port forwarding on my digitalisierung

I tried to use the port forwarding featur. set the ports, tested connection, port closed.

I tried using exposed host - that should open all ports, tested connection, port closed

I tried completely disabling the firewall, both with exposed host on and off, tested connection, port closed

Is there a way to open the ports on this device????

    Which model of Digitalisierungsbox exactly are you using? Did you test from a device outside of your network, say a smartphone on a mobile connection, or from a machine on your own network?

     

    I'm asking because on the Digitalisierungsbox Standard and Premium, hairpin NAT/NAT loopback is disabled by default. See chapter 11.3.3.1 in the manual. Not sure about the situation with the Digitalisierungsbox Basic though.

    I don't know the Digitalisierungs Box very well. But could you please explain what you exactly want to do?

     

    As I can see in your screenshots you want to forward port 5222/tcp from your WAN interface to port 5222/tcp on 192.168.2.101.

    Is this correct?

     

    Is any service listening on 192.168.2.101:5222 (TCP) ?

     

    How did you test the connection?

     

    Do you have an IPv4 WAN address? Or do you may have an IPv6 only WAN uplink? If yes, you cannot use port forwarding from IPv6 to IPv4.
