Technician did not come, but my termin has been "processed"?

Sorry for English question, I am still learning German.

I had a Termin with a Telekom technician between 12:00~16:00 yesterday.

I was at home the whole day, but nobody came.

When I checked the appointment (https://termin.telekom.de/?63J58H) I was surprised that the appointment is "processed" and that I can connect my "equipment". However, I did not receive a fiber modem, and I only have a Speedport Smart 4 Typ A at home.

Can anyone tell me what I should do?

      I’m very sorry that you waited for the technician in vain yesterday. If your order states that you can set up the connection yourself, please follow the instructions to activate the fiber-optic connection. A modem is required for this.

       

      There is a version of the Speedport Smart 4 called the Speedport Smart 4 Plus, which has a modem integrated. Please check the label on the bottom of the device to see whether it says just Smart 4 or Smart 4 Plus. If you do not have the Plus version, an external modem is required. This can also be purchased or rented directly from us.

      I have a Speedport Smart 4 (Type A), not Plus.

      Am I not getting the modem as part of the contract?

      unfortunately the modem is not part of the contract itself. It is a device you can buy or rent, just as you can rent a router. Those devices are completely separated from the internet-contract.

      I just got a "Wir haben Ihren Abschluss-Termin am 27.01.2026 storniert" e-mail from Telekom.

      Is my internet connected or not?

      Can someone please look into this?

      We have received confirmation that a new installation date is planned for 10 February 2026. 🙂 Have you been informed about this?

      Yes, I confirmed the new installation date for 10.02.2026.

      Do I need access to the basement for this one? I was told that the connection is already done, but if the technician needs access to the basement again, I need to tell my hausmeister.

      Good evening @aegookja , it would be good, if there will be access to the basement. In case the technician needs to check anything, it should be opened. 😊
