Technician Appointment Cancelled

Hello, 

 

Firstly, sorry for the message in English but my German is not so good yet.

 

After waiting at home from 8:00 to 14:00 today for a technician to arrive and connect my wifi, my appointment has been cancelled. The tracking link showed that there was one person ahead of me at 12:00,  then 'the technician is delayed and will be there as soon as possible' around 13:00, and finally 'Your order is being rescheduled' at around 14:00. I was at home the entire time and did not receive a phone call. 

 

This is obviously extremely frustrating, not only because I will now need to take another day off work to be here for the rescheduled appointment but I will also continue to pay very high data costs in the meantime. I assume the rescheduled appointment will be in the next day or two but it would be greatly appreciated if you could give me the details as soon as possible so I can plan accordingly.

      I think the technician should connect your internet - not your WiFi.

       

      "Wifi" is the abbreviaton for "Wireless Local area network", "delivered" by your router.

       

      I will inform the Telekom staff of this forum.

       

      Did you mention a mobile number in your personal profile?

       

      If so, plse give us here a time window of at least 4 hours for a phone by the Telekom staff.

       

      Also, the last 6 digits of your IBAN are required (2-factor-authentication).

      Yes, I meant internet connection, not wifi.

       

      My mobile number is in my personal profile and I am available any time tomorrow for a phone call. I will have my IBAN ready too.

      Thank you for the nice conversation @danthony.

      As discussed, the deployment date is rescheduled for the 29th October, 2024 (08:00 - 13:00).

      Additionally, I have initiated the Schnellstart Router, so you will at least be able to access the internet in the meantime.
