Techniker said no APL but i can use Internet

Sorry mein Deutsch ist nicht gut so I will ask my question in English.

I am a new customer of the Internet service and had an appointment with Techniker this morning. I actually set everything correctly (e.g.Router, DSL cable etc.) and I can use the Internet to surf for days. But just now, the techniker came and said the APL from basement to my room is not okay and I should contact my landlord to fix the electrical line. But if it is broken, how can I managed to get the Internet these days? 

So, since the internet works, do I have to fix the line or something? Is there a possibility that Techniker open the wrong box in the basement? (Because mein Deutsch ist schlecht, sorry for that, and we didn't communicate well.)

      As discussed, according to his notes, the technician did not have access to the house connection. It may be that you are still online with the previous tenant's connection. You now discuss with the landlord that the house connection must be accessible and then book a new technician appointment via the link here 🙂

      Hi,  as discussed, I contacted my landlord asking which room is for the house Internet connection. It turns out that the technician came earlier this morning did came into the right room. It is not the situation in his notes. He told me the line from the basement to my room is broken.  Is there a solution to the broken line ? Can technician from Telekom fix this?

      The landlord is also responsible for the end line between the cellar and the apartment, as it is his property 🙏🏽
