Telekom revoked my confirmed cancellation without consent – no one will fix it

I need urgent help because Telekom revoked my confirmed contract cancellation without my consent.

I cancelled my MagentaZuhause M contract on 10 January 2026 via Telekom’s official cancellation form. Telekom confirmed in email (attached) that my contract would end on 10 February 2026.

Without my knowledge or approval, this cancellation was later removed from Telekom’s system. I did not request any withdrawal, extension, or continuation of the contract.

Under German law (§130 BGB), a cancellation becomes legally effective once it reaches the provider and cannot be revoked without the customer’s explicit consent. Such a unilateral revocation is not permitted.

I have already signed a new contract with another provider starting 11 February 2026, so Telekom must not continue or extend my contract beyond 10 February 2026.

I talked to several customer agents and no one is willing to help and one guy even yelled at me saying it's my mistake - Which I dont understand what the mistake is.

      Hi @Sreeraj,

       

      and thank you for the pleasant call. As discussed there was a mix-up in the system, but your cancellation will still be 10th February 2026. The issue is already with the responsible department and I assume that the cancellation will be reentered into the system within the next two days.

       

      I'll keep an eye on this issue and inform you if anything changes.
