Telekom won't cancel my internet contract and keeps charging bills

Hello
I have moved last month to a new place, where Telekom does not provide any services. I called, wen't through the process of confirming that I can cancel with 1 month notice and got approval. I sent an application via the portal - did everything correctly.
Then, nothing happened. No real confirmation, nothing. I contacted customer center twice - they said something about updating system and that it is all accepted and correct, just I need to wait for post a bit longer.
Today I received a bill for this month...at the new address where they don't even provide any service! Is that even legal? Like, what the hell is this...
What should I do? I feel lke calling them again is pointless and this looks like intentional fraud. Is there any customer protection agency that helps in such cases? I don't want to just stop paying as probably Telekom would report me to Schufa and it would be another paperwork nightmare to correct.
