Termination of DSL contract

Hi,

 

I would like to cancel my DSL contract, as i moved to studierendenwerk and my contract is upto 27.11.2021 and I already sent back the router. But the amount is still debited from my account and i also attaching my DSL contract 

 

Any suggestions would be helpful

      German telecommunication law gives in that case just one option for an early cancellation of the contract: if the provider (Telekom) cannot offer an unchanged contract/service in the new location then you can cancel the contract within three months period to the end of the month.

      Prerequisite for that: you officially ask for moving the DSL line  to your new location - referring to the rules according "Telekommunikationsgesetz" (you cannot do that online!). If Telekom can do: no reason for early cancellation. If Telekom cannot do: early cancellation is possible.

       

      The router is a separate contract, not following telecommunication law. It is not sufficient to use the DHL label provided at the time of delivery to send it back, but you rather need to initiate this e.g. there: https://retoure.telekom-dienste.de/miete

      and use the new DHL label.

      Do note that in your case there will be an additional fee of s.th. like 15 Euro due to early cancellation (minimum router rental duration is 12 months)

      Thanks for your suggestion and i filled my profile data

      In my case, i never used a internet from begining of contract becuase i shifted to new address before beginining of contract and in month of april, 2019 i shifted and my contract is started from 27.Nov.2019

      This year In month of the May, 2020 i got know about the my telekom contract is activated before that i used O2 DSL and my O2 contract terminated on the Last year Novemeber

      Last month, i received a invoice of 34.99 euro and i already mentioned i never received router

      thank you for the call.
      Like we discussed, we need a declaration from your Studierendenwerk, that you are only allowed to use their connection.
      You can send it via our online form.
      The contract itself will then be cancelled after 3 months.

      I uploaded the deceleration letter given by my studirendenwerk in the link which you provided me and the letter state that I am not supposed to use any another DSL connection and I also attaching the softcopy.

       

      Please find the attachment and terminate my contract

      I had a look at your E-Mail and the two documents. I couldn't find any paragraph that you are not allowed to use a telekom landline.
      Where should it say that you are not allowed to?

      Thanks for your reply and time. Actually, I asked to haus master of my studierendenwerk and he said everything will be in the room contract so i uploaded those two documents and he also mentioned that routers are not allowed studierendenwerk rooms.

      I will try to ask for one individual letter about router.

      Good afternoon @nikhilrajm78,

      strictly speaking, the picture only says that no other Internet provider is necessary.
      In this respect, there is no right to special termination. But I have looked at a lot & am therefore prepared to terminate the connection as if there were one.
      This means that I will cancel the connection in 3 months to the end of the calendar month.
      But the time still has to be paid. Please let me know if this is a viable option for you so that I can terminate it on Monday at the latest.

      thank you very much. I already answered by email.

      I cancelled the contract to tomorrow now. Please don't be alarmed if you get an invoice for the whole month of July tomorrow. This was already in the sending process. We won't debit the amount from your bank account.
