for i have apply for transfer my friend's landline to me ,for I take over his apparetmeng,and want to takeover his landline also,
i have apply the service before, and with to takeover smoothly, but my friend gaofeng ren receive a email to retuen the box
“anbei der Rücksendeschein für Ihr Mietgerät. Bitte senden Sie uns die gekündigten Geräte innerhalb von sieben Tagen zurück. Wichtig: Ohne die Rücksendung können wir die Geräte nicht kündigen und der monatliche Preis wird weiter berechnet.
”
My address is Adresse: XXXXXX; and my friends Buchungskonto is : XXXXXXX,his name is XXXXX, XXXXX,is similar to me.
my question is :
1, can this box not be returned back ,and just transfer to me , for i can use the internet smoothly?
2,how about my application of the landline service?

Unfortunately Telekom does NOT accept such transfer of contract in the fixed business (whereas with a mobile network contract it would not be a problem). That means there are two contracts in the game
None of these can be transferred to you.
If your friend will cancel his landline contract you might agree with him that you use it and pay him for that (though this is not officially allowed by Telekom) until it is terminated. And towards the end date you go for your own landline contract with new phone number. There will be a service interruption.
In case your friend has moved abroad (away from Germany) then an early termination of the landline contract is possible.
Good to know: once a cancellation of the router rental contract has been spoken out one has to return the router within few days - otherwise Telekom will claim damage and a resulting high payment.

If your friend has terminated the router rental contract then it CAN be that there will be a damage fee due to late sending back. The router is expected back s.th. like after seven days.
The question is whether your friend has already ended the rental contract - in your initial posting you have cited
"Ohne die Rücksendung können wir die Geräte nicht kündigen und der monatliche Preis wird weiter berechnet."
which would indicate that at that stage of sending this info the rental contract was not terminated, that this will only be terminated once the router has been sent back. Means there will not be a damage fee but rather the normal rental fee. Which of course requires that the bank account still exists...
Anyhow - if you are abroad you probably cannot do anything right now.

I could see that you already have an internet contract with us since 21st of January 2021. Is that the contract you are talking about or is there another contract you want to use?
