I was lied about getting into a contract. I want to get out now. I did not want to be in a contract. I am willing to pay a fee in order to get out of the contract now .

If its not longer than 14 Days after you received the "Auftragsbestätigung", then you can revoke the contract "Widerruf".
Other than that, you are bound to the contract length.

Maybe it was simply a misunderstanding.
You speak English, the other person speaks German. Misunderstandings can happen.
What contract have you been lured into? When and by whom? The 14 day period does not apply to all situations.

I was told it was month to month and now apparently i am in a 2 year contract. I just completed a month with them. I can pay any fines possible. I do not want to be in a contract.

Good evening @alvarez 1530 ,
thank you for your contribution to our community.
Unfortunately, there are no more English-speaking counselors here today, but we will get back to you tomorrow.
Best regards and have a nice evening

Do assume that after one month from 24 months Telekom might require you to pay 23*monthly fee
What is the reason that you want to get out of the contract (apart from the questionable getting you in the contract)?
Good to know: in case you move abroad (outside of Germany) an exceptional early termination is possible.

Hello @alvarez 1530 ,
@Marius AD has already responded with the correct answer. :) Thank you!
The time period for a "Widerruf" has already passed, I'm sorry.
Since the order confirmation contains all the information about the contract duration and the withdrawal period, early termination cannot take place here.
Kind regards
Anna
