[English Support] Switching To Telekom Prepaid After Telekom Postpaid Contract Ends

I'm currently on a MagentaMobil M Young mit Smartphone contract, which began on October 5, 2022, and is set to expire on October 5, 2024. After the contract ends, I'd like to keep my current mobile number and switch to the MagentaMobil Prepaid M (annual tariff). I would like to find more information about the process (unfortunately online search didn't yield results except the cancellation form and I want to make sure that I don't lose this number) and want to ensure everything goes smoothly. Could anyone advise on the best way to proceed with the cancellation and switch? Specifically, I'm wondering:
- Cancellation Method: Should I cancel my contract online through the customer center, use the contact form, or send a written termination letter?
- Required Information: What information do I need to provide to ensure my contract is correctly processed?
- SIM Card: Will I need a new SIM card, or can I continue using my existing one? I currently use an eSIM.
I'll be travelling towards the end of October 2024, so it's crucial that this transition is completed on time

You don't have to cancel your contract, and you can keep your existing SIM card.

Sorry, I missed the call. I am available the entire day tomorrow (12.07) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Alternatively, Saturday (13.07) also works.
