how to get Prepaid M Kundennummer？

When I click things in the app, sometimes the login screen appears and asks me to enter a "Kundennummer" (customer number). I can't find it. I don't have a contract or any email notifications. I went to the store and asked a clerk, and they said that prepaid users don't have this number. Is that correct?
