I want to buy a prepaid eSim (not postpaid/contract) for my wife from Telekom, I already have a prepaid eSim for me.

I was looking for an option of buying a prepaid eSim for my wife and I could not find the option. I already have a prepaid eSim for myself. Can anyone help here.
Re-iterating, I am looking for a prepaid eSim and to buy it online.

Just once more: this is not possible for prepaid. Not as of today.
For prepaid you need to follow the two step process as described:
1) buy and activate physical SIM
2) change to eSIM

Unfortunately, I didn't get you again by phone. There is immediately a busy signal.
But your request is also possible to explain here via our community.
As @muc80337_2 and me already explained, you need to go the same way for your wife's eSIM like you did.
You're using prepaid, so there isn't any MultiSIM option which would make it possible to send you directly an eSIM profile.
The order is possible on all common ways like online, hotline or also with me from Telekom hilft. You can order the physical SIM on each way and after it's been activated you can change it to an eSIM profile.
