Passport number is not being accepted when filling out for a prepaid sim

I'm trying to port my current number to a telekom prepaid tariff with esim option but my passport number is not being accepted in the ID Number field. I'm already a telekom customer with a landline-wlan contract.
Are Indian passports not acceptable for this purpose?
Can I actually opt for an esim with prepaid tariffs?

Hi @Malte M.
When I try to select Passport as my identity document and enter my passport number in the Id Number field, it remains red and doesn't let me submit the form for the mobile prepaid S tariff.
I will be available tomorrow between 2pm-3pm.
