Not able to get a new connection or an explanation of the issue

Hi,

 

I recently moved into a building with an existing Telekom fiber optic line. I have been trying to place a new connection request but keep getting random reasons as to why it is not possible. The reasons include previous tenants still connected, technical issues and hold-up of new connections due to some construction. Twice I was assured that the issue will be resolved and a contract will be extended but each time to no avail.

I have tried going to the shops three times with each time getting no clear answer and have spent hours getting in touch with customer care. Even the previous tenant had to reach out to the Telekom team to confirm that the contract was indeed canceled. 

I do not understand how this much confusion is possible for a simple request as a new connection. As I am working from home this has become a big issue and is causing a lot of trouble for my family.

Since we got the first explanation it has been 3 weeks after being promised a resolution time of 8 days more than once.
