Transfer my prepaid number (english)
2 years ago
Hello!
I want to do a phone number to another provider. I was told that it's an easy process and want to make the number transferable for free. I can't do it in English by phone, can a team member help me here perhaps?

@markhovs
If you want to take your cell phone number with you to another provider, please cancel your prepaid contract.
You can do this by phone: 08003302202. If you need an English -speaking employee, I can notify the team.
A note for you:
When canceling, please indicate that you intend to take the phone number with you to another provider.
After receipt of your cancellation, we will terminate the prepaid contract with a notice period of 14 working days. As soon as you have received your cancellation confirmation, you can ask your new provider to port your number.
What does number portability cost? Number portability is free of charge.

Then I'll notify the team.
It is important that you fill out your customer profile completely.
Among other things, when you can be reached. The link to the profile is in my signature.

Hey @markhovs ,
thanks for your writing.
If you just port your mobile number to a new provider your prepaid plan will receive a new number and your current SIM is still usable, but just with a different number and your current number is usable with the SIM of your chosen new provider.
The other option is that you're cancelling your prepaid plan and take your number with you.
In that case, your prepaid plan will be cancelled and your current SIM by us is disabled.
Best regards
