Unexpected Charge via 82555 – GoPlay / WAP Billing

Dear Telekom team,

I noticed a 20 EUR charge on my mobile bill today (12 June 2025), linked to a subscription via short code 82555 (GoPlay). I never knowingly subscribed to this service.

This happened after I accidentally clicked on an ad while browsing over mobile data. Without entering my phone number or confirming anything, I received an SMS confirming a subscription — which I believe is part of a WAP billing issue.

I have already contacted the service provider (goplay.de@silverlines.de) to cancel the subscription and their address doesn’t exist anymore.

I kindly ask for your help with:

  • Verifying and cancelling any active subscription linked to this service
  • Investigating the charge and possibly issuing a refund
  • Activating a third-party billing block on my number to prevent this in the future

Please let me know if you need my customer details — I’ll be happy to provide them in a private message.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Best regards,

Mohammed

you can try to report your complaint via a contact form at:

      https://www.telekom.de/kontakt/e-mail-kontakt/mobilfunk/beschwerde?samChecked=true

Then select “Invoice or payment” and then select “Third-party provider costs not transparent”. Please also upload your attachments. Telekom colleagues will then check how they can support you.

That's exactly what you can do by yourself or better should do for all 3rd party billing companies.

Just open your personal KundenCenter and start blocking not only that single one but a lot more eg 0900 xxx etc.
