when will i get internet

Dear Telekom,
I have applied for DSL Connection for more than a month now, I was supposed to get internet a week ago, still there is no conformation from your end. When I talk to customer support, they say we will process it as soon as possible. I had applied for DSL connection with friends and family benefit as one of my friend works in Telekom. Now, even he is frustrated with this bureaucracy.
You guys boast that you are the biggest internet provider in Germany and if this is what we get for signing up for your contract with you guys, then we have a bigger problem.
I should have just signed up with one of your competitor, I believe I would have got internet connection by now.
Kindly have competent people to resolve issues.

Hi @Raghav ,
maybe it is not yet too late to cancel your request for connection and go with a competitor. Sometimes it helps to change things after a bad start.
If you do not want to go this way, your friend should have possibilities to support.

Ya, I think I should just do that. pretty annoyed and frustrated with how Telekom operates.

If this is about a DSL competitor then I guess that you woul be in the very same situation.

As Telekom owns and operates the DSL lines, they are responsible for providing you with a connection, even if you make a contract with another DSL provider.
Please, enter customer details and a telephone number into your profile (click here) and then a Telekom team member should be in contact with you shortly to discuss the situation. Maybe they can even provide you with a "Schnellstart" plug and play device

thank you for the friendly phone call.
I'm really sorry that we cannot provide an internet connection at your address. We don't have the technical infrastructure for a DSL connection at your house. It's owned by another provider.
We're building a glass fiber connection there, but it will take some months to get it done. So at this moment this is not an option.
I hope you'll get a connection from the other provider soon.
@ak123: This is not true anymore. There are other providers that have their own DSL infrastructure.

could you let me know which was the DSL infrastructure provider you mentioned to check with? I will check for connection with them.
also, I spoke to Telekom partner office , which is near my apartment and he said, they can give connection after 31st August as they are building out glass fibre (fibre optics) connection.
Now, why does different Telekom representative respond with conflicting answers?
why is that, not all Telekom representative are on same page?
