Cancellation of internet question
Hello Telekom,
I am moving away from my city and will not be using Telekom for internet in the future. I have already cancelled the service but the new tenant will move in before my contract terminates.
Is it possible to change the termination date of the connection? I understand that I am responsible for paying for 30 days after I request termination and I am happy to do that.
All I am asking for is that the new tenant can connect to Telekom on the day he moves in to the apartment (even though that date is still in my 30 day window). It would be very helpful.
Unfortunately, the English language line does not work anymore and this request is a little complicated for my basic German. Otherwise, I would call and ask this over the phone.
Vielen Dank.

Hello and thank you for the responses.
The reason I created this thread was due to the fact that he called last week to have Telekom connected to the apartment on his move-in date. Telekom told him that it was not possible to do that since the current tenant (me) had a contract until 9 June. They informed him that the current tenant (me) should call and try and fix the problem. So I did by creating this thread.
Is it OK for him to call now? Or will Telekom say that the current tenant (me) needs to call and fix this?
I'm confused.
Many thanks.
