DSL socket doesn't have wires
Hello
I received the new Speedport Smart 4 Type A router recently. In this apartment this is the first time that we have a DSL connection. However I router cannot connect to the internet and the central LED keeps blinking yellow/orange. The DSL plug is connected to the center socket with 'F' written on it.
After waiting for sometime, I investigated a bit and found out that there are no wires connected to the middle socker (with F marking).
There are two such sockets in home but only one with 'N' 'F' 'N' written on them. The other one has 'T' symbol for Telekom and '1' symbol as well.
I have asked my landlord but he also doesn't know much about it. His idea is that the wiring is wrong but he is not sure. I'm wondering what the actual wiring on a DSL socket (with 'F' marking) should look like?
I tried contacting Telekom chat but nobody answered even after waiting for an hour. I still have 10days before 14days of withdrawal expires, so fingers crossed that it is resolved within this time.
Regards
Atin
