English help- house move

Hi,
I’ve been trying for days to set up a move- I move to my new house at the end of this month.
First it was throwing up an “uh oh” error and asking me to call, now it’s telling me the new address is invalid.
Help please :)

could you please check the contact in your profile? Or are you already moved outside of Germany? If so, when would you be available for a call and what exactly is your intention, is it about a speacial termination because of moving away? If so, we need some documents. 🙂
And please check the customer number too, because I was not able to find a contract.

I’m not moving out of Germany, I just don’t have a German telephone number.
I’m moving house and just need to move my contract although it looks like my current internet speed isn’t available at the new property.

Hello @user_e77dd1,
okay. So In that case, we would schedule a move to your new address. If we can execute the contract exactly, the move will be booked.
If not, then you can terminate your landline contract extraordinarily with one month’s notice, either as of your moving date or at a later time. However, we need one of the following documents as proof of your move:
Rental or purchase agreement
Registration certificate from the local registration office (new residence)
Landlord confirmation in accordance with § 19 of the German Federal Registration Act
As an alternative to termination, you have the option to switch to a lower and therefore cheaper tariff, provided this is available at your new address.
