Internet connection not active

Hello, 

I received a call today that my internet is active now. So I connected the router and set it up but internet does not work and it gives a message.

dieser internetanschluss ist zur zeit nicht aktiv. Bitte führen Sie eine Anschlussprüfung durch und wissen Sie uns mit dem Ergebnis.

The interesting thing is, I can connect to the webpage " http://kundencenter.telekom.de " and check my contract details. But I cannot connect to any other websites. 

So now I don't know what's the problem. Could the Telekom Service team can check the problem? Let me know if i need to provide any more information.

      Hi @Tooba Shahzad ,

      wellcome to the Telekom hilft Community!

       

      Likely there is a problem either with the connection (of maybe a cable) or with something in a database. You have to open a ticket or call the hotline.

       

      You can try to test your connection here:

      https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/hilfe-bei-stoerungen

      And go through it to open a ticket.

       

      I thought there was an English hotline but it is not listed on the webpage any more.

      Maybe you could call 0800 3301000 and find out whether they can help you.

       

      Or you can wait here until the Telekom Team comes to this thread and helps. If the hotline cannot help please come back here and ask again.

      The DSL-Connection is not yours,

      it´s the connection from a former user,
      please call 0800 330 1000 "Störung",
      the service-technician can fix it in the DSLAM in the street,

      or in the House-Connection-Box (mostly in cellar or outside on Buildingwall)

       

      (the Infos he need, NT-Number (a Number on the Connection-Box, mostly on the Wall in your Livingroom or in the hall),
      Name of former User,
      Name of Apartment (for example:  1.OG L - Apartment one stairs upstairs, left side))

      mit schlechtem Übersetzungsprogramm. Denn der Stilblüte, nobody mit "kein Körper" zu übersetzen, dürften die wenigsten Übersetzungsprogramme erliegen. Das beherrschen in der Regel doch die meisten.

      Nachdem noch niemand eskaliert hatte bisher, habe ich das erledigt.

      please wait for any reaction of the Telekom hilft Team. Do not post any new other threads (for helping the same problem), one is enough. I pinged to the telekom hilft team, so that your problem get earlier attention. But it can take some time untill a reaction (later this afternoon or tomorrow). I told them, you need english communication (better than in german).

      Hi @Tooba Shahzad,

      thank you for the pleasant call. The technician had troubles enabling you internet connection remotely. The new appointment will be tomorrow 13th November from 08:00 am -12:00. He needs access to your internet socket in your flat and the APL (the internet connection point).
