NO INTERNET

Dear Telekom Team,

 

my contract is expected to start today (13/10/2022). I was sent a set up link today. I followed the set up procedure, filled the neccesary information regarding my modem ID (Fritzboy 5530). I also filled the information regarding my Telekom fiber optic ID. It is over 4 hours while waiting for internet connection. Yet there is no internet. Please what process is left. I need internet and I can not even get your technicians or reach out to someone. Please what can be the fault and the solution?

    Unfortunately, I could not reach you via phone. 

    The set-up of a fiber landline connection via Fritz!Box 5530 is not straight forward. 

    Here: https://telekomhilft.telekom.de/t5/Geraete-Zubehoer/Leitfaden-Fritz-Box-5530-an-bestehendem-Telekom/td-p/5424253 you can find information in order to accomplish a connection with that particular router.

    I would recommend that you get a new router like the "Speedport Smart 4", so you will not be forced to do all the settings to make it work.
