No suitable lines available, but Telekom box is available in the building

I made a contract with Telekom to provide DSL at my new apartment. After booking the Installation date in 3 days, I received today an e-mail stating "We can't give you a date yet. There are currently no suitable lines available at your desired location. We are planning a structural expansion to connect you to our network.".
However, we have a Telekom box in our apartment building, so how come they say there are no suitable lines?

Anyone with a similar situation? I cannot speak with the support Line as unfortunately I dont speak german yet.

Hi @user_53adde,
that means there is either no free connection points at the APL the point were the line enters your building or at a relay point further back.

Thanks for the reply. When can I expect then to have this sorted? I Work from home and am now 2 weeks with No internet...

@user_53adde that varies greatly and could take a couple of weeks or a couple of months.
There is a temporary solution that we are offering in those cases. It is called LTE -Sofort and would provide you with Wi-Fi via an LTE -Router plus sim card.
