Terrible communication between Telekom and their technicians

Hi,

This is the third time now a technician is sent to an apartment we recently moved in.

The first one diagnosed a problem in the wires. Telekom then drafted an agreement with the landlord so that they could drill and fix the wiring in the walls. Our landlord is too uncooperative to do it themselves but agreed that Telekom does it.

We got the approval from the landlord and requested a second technician.

He came without any equipment, diagnosed the same issue, told us Telekom would contact us and left.

We had a call with a dispatcher, with whom we talked extensively to make sure the next technician would be aware of the issue and bring drilling material. She booked it and told us we would be billed personally for the drilling work.

Today, we wait once again for 7 hours in our unfurnished apartment because the tracker is incapable of telling us where the technician actually is.

We receive a call from a private number, the technician asks us if we resolved the wiring issue with the landlord.

We tell him we explicitly asked for a Telekom person to do it, he tells us he will call us back and hangs up.

He doesn't call back and he doesn't show up.

A few minutes later, the tracking link shows that the visit was cancelled and that the problem is unresolved.

We can't call him back because the number was private and we can't get any help from the hotline because our german is not good enough for such a specific issue.

We first made this contract on December 28th, 2021. As of February 3rd, 2022, we still have no internet.

We are actively trying to use your service. I don't understand why this is taking so long nor why you can't communicate simple tasks to your technicians.

Can you, once and for all, send someone with drilling material that knows what they need to do to finally set up a DSL connection in the apartment?

Sorry, the first technician came on December 28th, we actually began the contract on the 16th. It's almost been 2 months.

      Hello @Carol Soliman

      thank you for the call.

Like discussed, the issue is already taken care of from another department.

If this however doesn't work out, you can message me again.

      Kind regards

      Nico B.
